A business visitor visa is designed for businesspeople who want to visit the UK for business purposes, but the activities they are allowed to carry out are specifically defined.

They are allowed to, for example: attend business meetings, conferences, interviews or trade fairs; sign contracts; carry out fact-finding missions or site visits; or attend training courses.

Business visitors must receive their salary from an overseas organisation, not one based in the UK. They must show that there are adequate funds and adequate accommodation in the UK for their visit.
